Slow down, for whatever you really want will be there when you get there if you work toward it without stress, without pressing. If proceeding under God’s guidance and His smooth and unhurried tempo, it is not there, then it was not supposed to be there. If you miss it, perhaps you should have missed it. So definitely seek to develop a normal, natural God-ordered pace. (Anonymous)

…above all the trivialities,
behind the walls,
is a narrow path
that leads to a dwelling
where one should take extra care,
because life, after all,
is a balancing act
…will you open the windows or keep it close?
where can one find the window leading to your heart?
when will you muster the courage to take a peep
to see the realities around?
…one’s life is hanging by the thread,
if not carefully secured,
will be carried away
by the rushing of a strong wind,
and may fall in a limbo where
it completely loses it’s color.
…a slum in the middle of a bustling city,
is like a contrast of colors and texture,
where the rich and the poor exist,
but balance is far beyond existing.
…a lowly dwelling place amid the dumpster,
where the thousands of scattered garbage
created a splattering of colors;
likely a representation of the lives scattered–
wandering and waiting to find the true home
it was meant to enjoy
